Delicious Grilled Steak and Shrimp Skewers combine tender steak and juicy shrimp grilled to perfection and brushed with warm garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons olive oil divided
4 cloves garlic minced divided
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt divided
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  • Pat steak and shrimp dry.

  • Toss steak with 2 tablespoons olive oil, half the garlic, paprika, half the salt, and pepper.

  • Toss shrimp with remaining olive oil, garlic, remaining salt, and half the lemon juice.

  • Preheat grill to medium high and oil grates.

  • Thread steak and shrimp onto skewers.

  • Grill steak 8 to 10 minutes turning regularly. Grill shrimp 4 to 6 minutes until opaque.

  • Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in garlic, cook gently 1 to 2 minutes, then add parsley and remaining lemon juice.

  • Rest skewers 5 minutes and brush with garlic butter before serving.

Notes

Soak wooden skewers before grilling. Cook shrimp separately if preferred for better timing control.
