Delicious Grilled Steak and Shrimp Skewers combine tender steak and juicy shrimp grilled to perfection and brushed with warm garlic butter sauce.
1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons olive oil divided
4 cloves garlic minced divided
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt divided
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Wooden or metal skewers
Pat steak and shrimp dry.
Toss steak with 2 tablespoons olive oil, half the garlic, paprika, half the salt, and pepper.
Toss shrimp with remaining olive oil, garlic, remaining salt, and half the lemon juice.
Preheat grill to medium high and oil grates.
Thread steak and shrimp onto skewers.
Grill steak 8 to 10 minutes turning regularly. Grill shrimp 4 to 6 minutes until opaque.
Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in garlic, cook gently 1 to 2 minutes, then add parsley and remaining lemon juice.
Rest skewers 5 minutes and brush with garlic butter before serving.
Soak wooden skewers before grilling. Cook shrimp separately if preferred for better timing control.
