3/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup red and green candied cherries, chopped
1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
2 tablespoons finely chopped candied orange peel, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • Cream butter and brown sugar until light and smooth.
