2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
¾ cup buttermilk
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Glaze:
½ cup powdered sugar
1½ tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet.
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
Add buttermilk and mix gently.
Fold in blueberries.
Pat into 1-inch thick dough and cut into rounds.
Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.
Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm biscuits.
Use cold ingredients for best results. Don’t overmix. Frozen berries should be unthawed.
