These healthy banana brownies are fudgy, naturally sweetened, and made with just 6 clean ingredients. A quick, gluten-free treat ready in under 30 minutes.

  • 23 ripe bananas (about 1 cup mashed)

  • ½ cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or sunflower)

  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey

  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a square pan with parchment.

  • Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth.

  • Add nut butter and maple syrup. Mix well.

  • Stir in cocoa powder and baking soda.

  • Fold in chocolate chips if using.

  • Spread into the pan and smooth the top.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until set.

  • Cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Freeze up to 2 months. Add-ins like nuts, cinnamon, or espresso powder can enhance the flavor.
