These Christmas Rice Crispy Treats are soft, chewy, and loaded with festive flair — perfect for holiday parties, edible gifts, or a no-bake family dessert.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups rice cereal

  • 10 oz mini marshmallows (plus 1 cup reserved)

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • ½ cup holiday sprinkles or mini M&Ms

  • ½ cup white chocolate, melted (optional, for drizzling)

  • Red or green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment and lightly grease.

  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.

  • Add marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.

  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

  • Add rice cereal and reserved marshmallows. Mix well.

  • Let cool slightly, then fold in sprinkles or M&Ms.

  • Press mixture gently into prepared pan.

  • Drizzle with white chocolate and decorate as desired.

  • Let set at room temp for 1 hour before cutting.

Notes

Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Use cookie cutters to make shapes. Add food coloring to tint the mix.
