A light and creamy Strawberry Tiramisu made with layers of ladyfingers, strawberry syrup, mascarpone cream, and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

24 ladyfinger biscuits
2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook strawberries, sugar, and water to make syrup, then strain and cool.
  2. Beat mascarpone until smooth.
  3. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla to soft peaks.
  4. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone.
  5. Dip ladyfingers quickly into strawberry syrup.
  6. Layer ladyfingers, cream, and strawberries in a dish.
  7. Repeat layers and finish with cream.
  8. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.

Notes

Do not oversoak ladyfingers.
Chill well for best texture.
Use fresh strawberries for layering.
