5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
½ cup creamy peanut butter
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Grease a 9×9 or 9×13-inch dish and set aside.
Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir until smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
Add cereal and stir until evenly coated.
Press mixture into prepared pan with greased spatula.
Cool for 30–60 minutes before slicing.
