Fresh strawberries dipped in rich, melted chocolate for a classic, elegant dessert that’s easy to make and endlessly customizable.
1 lb fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried
1 cup dark or semi-sweet vegan chocolate, chopped
1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for shine)
Toppings (optional): crushed nuts, coconut flakes, white chocolate drizzle, sea salt
Wash and dry strawberries completely. Set aside.
Melt chocolate using microwave or double boiler. Stir in coconut oil if using.
Dip strawberries ¾ into the melted chocolate. Let excess drip off.
Place on parchment-lined tray. Add toppings if desired.
Chill 20–30 minutes or until set. Serve cold or slightly softened.
Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
Store in fridge up to 24 hours.
Avoid moisture to keep chocolate smooth and firm.
