This Lemon Cobbler Magic Recipe creates its own gooey lemon sauce under a soft, golden crust—no stirring required! A sweet-tart, buttery dessert that’s as easy as it is impressive.
Batter:
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup milk
¼ cup melted butter
1 tbsp lemon zest
Lemon Layer:
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup light brown sugar
⅓ cup fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
To Finish:
1¼ cups boiling water
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×9 baking dish.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, butter, and zest. Pour into dish.
Mix lemon juice, zest, and sugars. Spoon over batter.
Carefully pour boiling water on top. Do not stir.
Bake 40–45 mins until golden and bubbly. Cool 10 mins before serving.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. Add blueberries or raspberries for variation. Don’t stir after layering!
