1 sheet all-butter puff pastry, chilled
3/4 cup cooked ham, finely diced
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 large egg, divided
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Pinch of nutmeg
Salt and black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet or prepare a muffin tin.
Roll puff pastry and cut into 4-inch squares.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, half the beaten egg, mustard, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
Fold in diced ham.
Press pastry squares into muffin tin cavities.
Fill each with ham and cheese mixture.
Brush pastry edges with remaining beaten egg.
Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden and puffed.
Cool slightly before removing and serving.
Keep pastry cold before baking.
