These soft, gooey cinnamon rolls are filled with buttery cinnamon sugar and topped with luscious cream cheese frosting. A bakery-style classic perfect for cozy mornings and special occasions.
Dough:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm whole milk
2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
2 large eggs
⅓ cup granulated sugar
½ tsp salt
⅓ cup unsalted butter, softened
Filling:
¾ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
⅓ cup unsalted butter, softened
Frosting:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup butter, softened
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Add eggs, butter, flour, and salt. Mix and knead for 8 minutes until smooth.
Let dough rise 1–1.5 hours in a warm place until doubled.
Mix filling ingredients. Roll dough into rectangle, spread filling, and roll tightly.
Slice into 12 rolls. Place in greased 9×13 pan. Let rise 30–45 minutes.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes.
Beat frosting ingredients. Spread over warm rolls.
