Rich, dense chocolate brownies with a glossy top and fudgy center inspired by Seidy’s Bakery style.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth and glossy.
  • Stir in cocoa powder and melted chocolate until combined.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Mix in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture just until combined.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
  • Cool completely before slicing and serving

Notes

Do not overmix batter to keep brownies tender. Slightly underbake for a fudgier texture.
