Burger Bowls are a bunless burger-inspired meal layered with seasoned ground beef, crisp lettuce, fresh vegetables, cheese, and a creamy burger sauce.

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
4 cups chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
½ small red onion thinly sliced
½ cup dill pickles sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ avocado sliced optional

Burger Sauce:
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon pickle juice

Instructions

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned.

  • Drain excess grease and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Divide chopped lettuce among bowls.

  • Spoon warm beef over lettuce and top with shredded cheese.

  • Add tomatoes, onions, pickles, and avocado if using.

  • Whisk sauce ingredients and drizzle over bowls.

  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Store components separately for meal prep. Substitute ground turkey for a lighter option if desired.
