Crispy, buttery, and loaded with melty cheese, this cheesy garlic bread is easy to make and packed with bold garlic flavor. A perfect side or snack ready in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

1 large loaf French or Italian bread
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
¼ tsp salt
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.

  • Mix butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and red pepper flakes.

  • Slice bread lengthwise and place cut-side up.

  • Spread garlic butter evenly over both halves.

  • Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts.

  • Broil 1–2 minutes for golden top.

  • Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh cheese for best melt. Store leftovers wrapped in foil and reheat in oven.
