Thick, bakery-style cookies inspired by Crumbl, made right at home. This recipe includes a buttery base and topping options for chocolate chip, sugar, and Oreo flavors.
Base Cookie Dough:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 tbsp cornstarch
½ tsp salt
Flavor Add-ins:
1½ cups milk chocolate chips (for chocolate chip)
1 tsp almond extract + pink frosting (for sugar cookie)
1 cup crushed Oreos + cream cheese frosting (for Oreo)
Cream butter and sugars for 2–3 mins. Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix in dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in add-ins.
Chill dough 30 mins. Preheat oven to 350°F.
Scoop large balls (¼–⅓ cup) and place on lined baking sheet.
Bake for 11–13 minutes until edges set. Cool completely.
Frost or decorate as needed.
Use parchment, not greased pans, for better texture.
Chilled cookies taste best after refrigeration.
Adjust toppings for seasonal flavors.
