Thick, bakery-style cookies inspired by Crumbl, made right at home. This recipe includes a buttery base and topping options for chocolate chip, sugar, and Oreo flavors.

Base Cookie Dough:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • 2¾ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • ½ tsp salt

Flavor Add-ins:

  • 1½ cups milk chocolate chips (for chocolate chip)

  • 1 tsp almond extract + pink frosting (for sugar cookie)

  • 1 cup crushed Oreos + cream cheese frosting (for Oreo)

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugars for 2–3 mins. Add eggs and vanilla.

  • Mix in dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in add-ins.

  • Chill dough 30 mins. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Scoop large balls (¼–⅓ cup) and place on lined baking sheet.

  • Bake for 11–13 minutes until edges set. Cool completely.

  • Frost or decorate as needed.

  • Use parchment, not greased pans, for better texture.
