Tender slow-cooked chicken or steak fajitas with peppers, onions, and spices served in warm tortillas.

Ingredients

2 pounds chicken or steak, sliced
3 bell peppers, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup broth
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  • Add vegetables to slow cooker.
  • Place meat on top and season.
  • Add tomatoes and broth.
  • Cook 6–7 hours on low or 3–4 on high.
  • Stir and shred meat.
  • Add lime juice and serve in tortillas.

Notes

Adjust spice level, use chicken thighs for juiciness, warm tortillas before serving.
