½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup dark brown sugar
¼ cup pure maple syrup
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
Optional: ½ tsp ground cinnamon
4–6 oz white chocolate, melted (for dipping)
Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
Mix in maple syrup, egg yolk, and vanilla.
Stir in dry ingredients until dough forms.
Chill dough for 1 hour.
Scoop dough into balls, flatten slightly.
Bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
Cool completely, then dip in melted white chocolate.
Let set before serving or storing.
Chill dough for thicker cookies.
