Mini Black Forest Dessert Cups are no-bake layered treats with crushed cookies, cherries, and whipped cream. Elegant, quick to make, and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups crushed chocolate cookies or brownie crumbs

  • 2 cups cherry pie filling or homemade cherry compote

  • 1 cup whipped cream or topping

  • Optional: chocolate shavings, kirsch, fresh cherries for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare 6–8 small dessert cups or jars.

  • Spoon cookie crumbs into the base of each cup.

  • Add a layer of cherry filling, then whipped cream.

  • Repeat layers. Top with cream and chocolate shavings.

  • Chill for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Use vegan or gluten-free alternatives as needed.

  • Optional: Add 1 tsp kirsch to cherry layer for adult version.

  • Best enjoyed within 24 hours of assembling.
